in the heart of the historic Costigliole d'Asti village, the Caffe
Roma developed, in the last two years, from a simple coffee house
and a wine-bar into an all-in-one multi-purpose wining-and-dining
place: a well-provided wine-bar, a coffee house, a traditional trattoria
eating house and a restaurant. This is the path of success of the
owners - Anna and Gino Risso, in the little square at the foot of
the imposing Costigliole castle.
You can have a simple cappuccino or a glass of high quality wine,
a Moscato d'Asti cocktail and enjoy dishes such as agnolotti del
plin and pasta e fagioli.
The environment is inviting and warm (brick-made ceiling, rustic
wooden furnishings), the atmosphere comfortable and lively. Service
is simple and very efficient. The owner offers expertly advice regarding
wine choice to complement your meal.
