All our dishes
are prepared with quality fresh local ingredients and according
to original Nonna Teresa's (grandmother's) old recipes.
On our menu blackboard, you will find a list of the Dishes
of the Day, different in every season.
Our rich variety menu includes antipasti, such as the carne
cruda raw meat plate, Insalata Russa (Russian salad), Vitello
Tonnato (veal in tuna sauce), Peperone al forno con l'acciuga"
(peppers cooked in oven with anchovies), Lingua col Bagnet
(veal tongue served with a traditional Piedmont sauce), Insalata
tiepida di Galletto (warm rooster salad).
Our first courses menu includes Agnolotti dal plin served
with a sausage sauce or a roast-beef sauce, traditional tagliatelle
and Minestrone con pasta e fagioli (pasta and bean Minestrone
soup).
Main courses include our finest Pollo alla Cacciatora (braised
chicken prepared 'hunter-style' in vegetable sauce), Brasato
(braised beef) and our flavorful Bollito (boiled meats, vegetables
and condiments).
You can choose from our extensive selection of finest cheeses

Our home-made
dessert sweets selection includes pies, tarts, Bonet (chocolate
cake made with coffee and local biscuits), Tiramisu and a
hazelnut cake. We also serve seasonal fruit with wine.
You can enjoy a complete meal
or have a simple snack. Follow Gino's expertly advice regarding
our cheese board and the exquisite cold cuts selection.
Gino also likes to create new
recipes and novelty dishes, like his Moscato d'Asti wine-soaked
codfish stewed with potatoes and herbs.
In fall and winter you will also
enjoy our Polenta and Bagna Cauda with the famed cardoons
of Nizza Monferrato.
